  • Associate Counsel
    Office of the General Counsel — This position provides legal counsel to client departments of The Mother Church, The Christian Science Publishing Society and The Mary Baker Eddy Library, and covers a wide range of legal practice areas.
    Requirements:
    • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
    • 5+ years of law practice
    • Admission to the Bar in at least one U.S. state
    • A thorough knowledge of Estates & Trusts, Tax or Corporate law. Experience with or desire to practice copyright and trademark, immigration, and/or employment law is a plus.

  • Administrative Assistant II
    CSPS Manager’s Office — This position provides administrative assistance to the Manager of The Christian Science Publishing Society, as well as, serves as a business administrator to the departments reporting to the Manager for matters related to office management, personnel activities, technology coordination and special projects. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Requires administrative skills, project management/coordination experience, communication, problem solving, and business writing skills. Initiative, flexibility, and confidentiality as well as attention to detail are essential. Accounting /finance experience/ knowledge a plus. The Mother Church membership and Primary class instruction are preferred.

  • Merchandise Supervisor
    The Mother Church Reading Room — Opportunity to utilize your artistic talents in preparing strong visual window and display designs for the products available for sale in the Reading Room which bring the healing ideas of Christian Science to the community, promote sales and broadens the healing ministry of the Reading Room. Works as team member with other Sales Associates in maintaining an environment for spiritual healing and discovery. Experience in art, design or merchandising preferred. Two or more years of experience in a retail environment and experience in the Field (branch Church work, field work, and other) is preferred. Demonstrated skills in window/display design, driving projects and sales skills required. Team player with strong communication and customer service skills and familiarity with public thought and trends and other faith backgrounds are required. This position requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate evening and weekend coverage by staff. The Mother Church membership and Christian Science Class Instruction is required.

  • Web Production Assistant
    Office of the Clerk — Support the Clerk’s office Web Manager to facilitate the design and production processes required to populate the ChristianScience.com content management systems (CMS), web pages, and related social media. Understanding and experience with Web development/design. Basic comfort level with a web platform like Wordpress or a CMS, Adobe Photoshop, HTML, FTP, and technologies related to discussion forums. Understanding and experience in online communities, social media and developing campaigns. The Mother Church membership or affiliation preferred.

    Committee on Publication (Washington, DC) — As a member of the Committee on Publication team in Washington DC, the Legislative Relations Intern assists in representing the interests of Christian Science on Capitol Hill. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in acquiring valuable congressional relations experience and for those who want to hone their research, writing and public speaking skills.
