Church Alive Summit–Orlando
Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and beyond!
This Church Alive Summit is designed to gather members and friends together for engaging with Mary Baker Eddy’s vision for Church and to examine how each of us can more actively fulfill its healing mission.
Renew. Inspire. Heal.
What is church? Why belong to a church? Why go to a Christian Science church? What is the vision Mary Baker Eddy had of church? What does my church do for the community? What is my part in the church community?…
At the Church Alive Summit–Orlando we will explore these questions and many others. Together we will discuss, uncover, and reveal ideas that lead to renewal, inspiration, and healing.

1. June Nettles Clark C.S. says:
Wow, this is terrific and I just know that Alabama folks will be putting this on their calendars and bringing their Sunday School young folks with them.
2. Susan says:
We sure wish 10 year olds could come. We won’t be making the trip since they aren’t included. We couldn’t leave our daughter out.
3. Carolyn says:
Thanks, Susan, for calling our attention to this. We’re happy to be able to offer a youth component with the Church Alive Summit–Orlando. We carefully considered children when choosing our venue, noting that Mrs. Eddy opened membership to The Mother Church to young people at age 12. Our Youth Program at the Summit is designed for those 12 and up.
Yet, we realize that some 10 year-olds are more mature than those who are 12. Therefore, if a parent feels their child is mature enough to attend the Youth Program with middle and high school-age teens, we leave the decision to the parents, who would accept full responsibility for their children.
In addition, The JW Marriott Orlando hotel and the Ritz Orlando hotel on the same campus provide a variety of interesting and fun child care activities for 5 – 12 year olds. The Marriott’s program is complimentary (nominal fee for craft supplies) and requires an adult, while
Ritz Kids is a drop-off type for an hourly $20 fee. Click link above for Ritz Kids or call 407-393-4977 for information. Reservations needed.
