Bliss is…leaning back into my kite-surfing harness, feeling the wind carrying me across rolling waves into wide open water. Invigorating salty splashes, surrounding colorful kites, and freely exchanged smiles complete the picture.

Bliss is…leaning back into the all-embracing power of our Father-Mother, Love, feeling Him carrying me into an expansive life filled with love, health, adventure. Splashes of joy, colorful inspiration, and the opportunity to see how everyone is being safely upheld by the same divine influence convince me I couldn’t find a more fulfilling occupation than being a Christian Science practitioner.

I owe my life to Christian Science, so I love sharing examples of how it can help anyone, in any avenue of their life. I went to college at MIT and received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering. At the same time, I had a great time playing field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse, as well as lead alto saxophone in the festival jazz band. Afterward, as I embarked on a career in product development and, later, manufacturing, I played ultimate Frisbee and continued performing on my saxophone in smaller groups.

As time has progressed, the ways I’ve played sports and music have changed. Where I’ve lived has changed a couple times, including spending 2+ years in Spain. I continue to have new opportunities to serve and to meet wonderful new people in many parts of the world… but God has never changed. His great, steady wind has always been up. Knowing progressively more about Him, and thereby being redeemed, gently corrected, forgiven, comforted, healed, guided, empowered, and enabled to help others through Christian Science…there’s nothing like it. In short, it’s a great ride—so let’s go!
