Sushil Likhi, CSB
A member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship
As a Christian Science practitioner, Sushil Likhi devotes his time to study, prayer, and helping those who call on him for healing. This work has resulted in healings of asthma, mental derangement, stammering, deafness, an ear infection, high blood pressure, a chronic cough, walking difficulty, gynecological troubles, and seasonal problems like colds, eye infections, viral fevers, etc. He has also helped those struggling with employment problems and relationship difficulties.
Sushil’s interest in Christian Science began in 1975 when a family member gave him a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. He felt impelled to try the self-healing method of prayer as explained by the author of the book, Mary Baker Eddy. He has had many healings through this system, including one of chronic malaria.
In 1993, Sushil was appointed as Christian Science Committee on Publication for India. In this capacity he gave talks about Christian Science to various public groups and also conducted speaker training workshops. He was instrumental in initiating translation of Christian Science literature into Hindi, the national language of India.
Earlier in his career, after receiving an MSc engineering degree in irrigation and hydraulics, Sushil worked as a technical teacher trainer. He also received a degree from the International Institute of Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering in Delft, The Netherlands. He has authored books on civil engineering and developed a number of video programs in hydraulics engineering and environmental protection.
Although he left his engineering career in 2004 in order to serve the Cause of Christian Science on a full-time basis, Sushil remains committed to environmental protection. He enjoys gardening and cares about the welfare of plants, insects, animals, and birds.
