It is that true light from God that allows me to find peace and to see His promise for my strength to be restored and renewed daily.
I am now in my second year of pre-university studies at the School of Music Vincent-d’Indy, where I am developing my skills on the piano as well as in subjects that are essential to every musician: music literature, choir, sight reading/musical dictation, writing and analysis, and music theory.

Last December, I was spending a lot of time cramming for finals and trying to get all my past work done to turn in. Math was the worst. I’d always struggled with math in general. I thought I couldn’t understand the concepts, so I tended to just give up.
A week before finals, I went to my math teacher and asked if he would do a pass/no pass grade for the course so at least an F wouldn’t show up on my transcript. He told me that if I continued to come to class and try my best, if I still failed, then he would agree. read
My junior year of high school has been brimming with new opportunities for spiritual growth. And despite facing challenges, I’m grateful to be learning that God is constant, “ ‘the same yesterday, and to-day, and forever’. ”[1] He doesn’t change from one year to the next. God’s wisdom and love are constantly being reflected by His children. read
